Johanne Hachez graduated from the 2200 hour program at the Foothills College of massage therapy and has been massaging since 2005. Two years of training consisted of intense study in anatomy, physiology, ergonomics, biomechanics, orthopedic assessment, clinical studies, therapeutic exercises and hydrotherapy.
She offers a variety of massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, visceral massage, manual lymph drainage, advanced sports massage, advanced deep tissue hot/cold stone therapy, and reiki. She also teaches infant massage and is familiar with the Active Release Technique®
She is committed to her clients and enjoys working with a broad range of pathologies, including TMJ and TMD, motor vehicle accidents, shoulder concerns, paralysis, headaches, pre/post natal massage and degenerative disk disease.
Johanne loves working with athletes, children, injuries and repetitive strain. She is currently studying on becoming a Certified Sports Massage therapist.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, Johanne takes the time to learn what her clients’ goals are and will tailor her treatments to every individual’s needs to obtain the desired therapeutic results.
When she isn’t relaxing at work or watching sports, she is in the mountains kayaking, hiking, camping or watching more sports.
